Welcome to the home page for the Disaster Risk Gateway wikithon.

The goals of todays event are to:

  • Bring together people to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and promote (interdisciplinary) research in a friendly, open, and collaborative environment
  • Enhance content through creation of pages about methods, models, tools, and approaches for multi-hazard, multi-risk assessment and management
  • Increase awareness of past and current multi-hazard and multi-risk initiatives and research projects around the globe

There are six ways you can contribute to the wiki today:

  1. Create a new page describing a method, model, tool, or approach for assessing or managing either multi-hazards or multi-risks
  2. Edit content on an existing page
  3. Suggest pages to be added to the Disaster Risk Gateway
  4. Suggest useful resources for addition to the Resources page
  5. Suggest past and current multi-hazard and multi-risk initiatives and research projects for addition to the Resources page
  6. Suggest definitions for multi-hazard and multi-risk terminology and concepts not currently in the Defintions page

Any level of contribution is welcomed and important.

Everything you need to take part should be located at the pages linked below. If you have trouble finding something or would like additional information you can ask a question by in FAQs.
